Declarations of consent

You can use the consent declarations to obtain various consents from your guests when registering. Here you can find out how to do this and what you should keep in mind.

All the settings explained here can be found in the “Form” tab of your event or event template.

Disable default consents

Disable default consents -

Here you have the option of deactivating guestoo's standard declarations of consent.

Important: Please check the legal situation before deactivating these consents! When in doubt, contact a lawyer or data protection officer to ensure that you do not need these declarations of consent (or add a custom one that is better suited to your needs).

  • Ticket purchase conditions
    These are the terms and conditions/T&C that you have entered under Agency > Payment methods
  • Default consent
    With this consent, your guests give you permission to contact them during the event and confirm that they have taken note of the privacy policy and the terms and conditions.

Activate declaration of consent in the form

Activate declaration of consent in the form -

In order to activate one or more already created declaration(s) of consent in the registration form of your event, proceed as follows:

  • Go to the "Form" tab of your event
  • Below the headline “Declarations of consent” you will see a list of all existing consents and can (de)activate them for the form
  • First, click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner and then click on one of the symbols next to the corresponding field:
    • Red, crossed-out eye: Declaration of consent is not displayed in the form
    • Green eye: Declaration of consent is displayed in the form, but agreeing to it is not mandatory
    • Green star: Declaration of consent is displayed in the form and is mandatory (registration for the event is not possible without consenting to this!)
  • Once you have made all the desired settings, click on the “Save” button in the top right-hand corner
