Registration for the event [translations pending]

You can choose between these options:

• No registration (shows only event details)
• Everyone can see the page & register
• View page & registration with general password only
• View page & registration only with personal invitation code
• View page & registration only with personal invitation code or login through an existing guest account
• View page & registration only with existing guest account (new)
• Authentication via connector logic

You can change this setting at any time. Changing this setting will not delete any data.

You can use this setting if you only want to create an event microsite. The guest is only shown information about the event and a note that no registration is required to visit the event. The registration button is not provided.

Suitable for

• Public events without the need for advance registration
• Advertising for major events
• etc.

The event website is visible to anyone who knows the URL to the event microsite. However, since this URL is long and cryptic, it is quite difficult to guess. Anyone can register for the event.

You can confirm the registered guests manually or have them confirmed automatically by guestoo - depending on the settings you choose under Registration process

Suitable for

• Public events with advance registration
• Events with a limited amount of spots
• etc.

If you select this option, you can set a password that will protect access to the event website. The password is only valid for this event (it is not guest-specific). Anyone who visits the event microsite will be asked to enter the password. The guest can only access the event microsite and register for the event once the password has been successfully entered.

You can also invite guests via the event's guest list. If a guest clicks on the link in the invitation email, it is not necessary to enter a password. If the invited guest accesses the event website in a different way and has their personal invitation code to hand instead of the password, they can also enter this code.

Suitable

• Exclusive events
• Events or raffles that are only supposed to be accessible for guests with a promotion code (=password)
• Weddings & private events
• etc.

With this setting, only invited guests have access to the event. This means that you must first create a guest list in the “Guests” tab of the event and either invite the guests via guestoo or send your guests their personalized invitation code or invitation link by other means (e.g. with printed invitations or via  Newsletter2Go).

• Weddings
• Private events
• Exclusive events

With this setting, only invited guests and guests who have a guest account in your agency have access to the event. This means that you must first create a guest list in the “Guests” tab of the event and either invite the guests via guestoo or send your guests their personalized invitation code or invitation link by other means (e.g. with printed invitations or via  Newsletter2Go). If a guest has a guest account, they can use their email address & password to log in and access the event page.

You can confirm the registered guests manually or have them confirmed automatically by guestoo - depending on the settings you have made under Registration process.

Suitable for

• Private company events
• Exclusive events
• etc.

With this setting, only guests who already have an existing guest account in your agency can access the event microsite and sign up for the event.

You can give your guests the opportunity to create a password-protected guest account for your agency by enabling the option under Settings > Option for the guest to create an account.
