Event-related managers

Here you can assign event-related manager users to the event and decide which rights they have (e.g. check in guests, manage guest list, etc.).

Event > Settings > Section "Event-related managers"


Note: If you cannot see this section, it is probably hidden.

In order to display it, scroll to the bottom of the “Settings” tab and click on “Show more options”.
There you can set which sections should be displayed and which should be hidden so that you have a better overview. :)

Event-related managers

 

If you have employees who are only supposed to have access to certain events, you can assign them as event-related managers.

 

In order to do this, you must first invite them to your agency as manager users under Agency > Users and assign them the role of “Event-related manager”. You can find out how this works here.

Recommended if..
  • You manage many events, but the check-in staff always varies
  • You want to give your employees access to your guestoo agency, but don't want them to be able to view or edit all events and settings without restrictions
  • etc.

After you have invited one or multiple manager users to your agency as “event-related managers” and they have completed their registration, you have the option of assigning them to your events.

 

This is how it works:

  • Go to the "Settings" tab of the desired event
  • Scroll to the "Event-related managers" section
  • Click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner
  • Under “Assign event-related manager”, select the name of a manager that has already been added to your agency from the list
  • Decide for one of the available roles under “Role” (see below for an explanation of the roles)
  • Click on the "+" symbol 
  • Click on the "Save" button
  • Important: Please note that you must click on the “+” symbol AND then on the “Save” button in order for the event-related manager user(s) to be assigned to the event!

Check-in manager

  • Is allowed to scan tickets
  • Can search for guests manually
  • Can save test results and reset them

Guest manager

  • Has the same authorizations as the check-in manager
  • Can additionally administrate and add guests and download exports

Event manager

  • Has the same authorizations as the guest manager
  • May additionally create appointments and download exports

Read only

  • Can view guest and event data, but cannot make changes or create new events
