Self Check-in & Check-out

(Pro subscription and higher)

Here you determine whether and when your guests can check themselves in and out.

Event > Settings > Section "Self Check-in & Check-out"


Note: If you cannot see this section, it is probably hidden.

In order to display it, scroll to the bottom of the “Settings” tab and click on “Show more options”.
There you can set which sections should be displayed and which should be hidden so that you have a better overview. :)

Self Check-in & Check-out

You can (de-)activate the following options here:

  • Allow Self-Check-in via link
  • Allow Self-Check-out via link

In addition, further input fields will appear after activating one or both options:

  • Send link to self-check-in X minutes before the event
    Enter the desired number of minutes here. For example, if you enter “15”, your guests will receive the URL for self-check-in 15 minutes before the event starts.
  • Send link to self check-out X minutes after the event started
    Enter the desired number of minutes here. If you enter “15”, for example, your guests will be sent the URL for self-check-out 15 minutes after the end of the event. The email will only be sent to checked-in guests.
  • Forwarding after successful Check-in/Check-out
    Here you can specify which page your guests are redirected to after self-check-out:
    • No forwarding
    • guestoo Event-Microsite
    • Meeting-URL
    • Custom URL: e. g. a link to a digital meeting room or your own website

Note: You can attach the guestoo Guest ID and/or the individual invitation code for your guest to the URL to let the foreign system know which guest is currently entering the meeting room.
