Public surveys

Here you can create public surveys regarding your event to get the opinion of your guests.

Event > Settings > Section "Public surveys"

Feature: Surveys for your guests

Note: If you cannot see this section, it is probably hidden.

In order to display it, scroll to the bottom of the “Settings” tab and click on “Show more options”.
There you can set which sections should be displayed and which should be hidden so that you have a better overview. :)

Survey feature (Pro subscription and higher)

Survey feature (Pro subscription and higher) -

The option to create surveys for your events is available from the Pro subscription onwards.

However, you can also add this feature to the Basic subscription for an additional charge.

You can find more information on the corresponding feature on this page. You can add the feature to your subscription at an extra charge in the Feature Shop.

As soon as the feature has been activated, you will find the section “Public polls” in the "Settings" tab of your events, as well as a completely new menu item in your menu bar: “Polls”.

You can find an example of what a survey created with guestoo can look like here: Example survey

Create survey

Create survey -

To activate a public poll for your event, you must first create it.

You can read up how to do that on this page.

Add public survey

Add public survey -

As soon as you have created at least one survey, you can return to the event under Settings > Public surveys.

You now have the option to add a poll you have created as a public survey to your event microsite.

This is how:

  • Go to the "Settings" tab of your event
  • Scroll to the section "Public surveys"
  • Click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner
  • Choose the desired survey from the dropdown menu
  • Click on the "+" button to add the survey
  • Click on the "Save" button
  • Done!

After you have added a public survey to your event, you can also (de)activate the following options:

  • Public
If this option is active (= toggle on green), the survey is publicly visible to everyone who visits the event page or knows the URL to the survey.
  • Allow repeated participation
If you activate this option (= toggle on green), guests can take part in a survey several times within the same browser session. This is recommended, if several guests should be able to take part in the survey on the same device in the same browser or if the survey is to be used for Q&A sessions or similar cases.
